Osara's Lacey Baby Blanket

Size: approximately 52 x 132 cm

Yarn: Schachenmayr Micro (50 g = 145 m)

Colour A white (00001)

Colour B cornflower blue (00056)

Hook: 4 mm

Instructions:

With A, ch 153 loosely.

Row 1 (RS): DC in 4^th ch from hook (beginning ch counts as first dc) and in each remaining ch across, turn – 151

Row 2: Ch 4 (counts as hdc, ch 2), skip next 2 sts, hdc in next st, *ch2, skip next 2 sts, hdc in next st; repeat from * across, turn – 51 hdc and 50 ch-2 space. Fasten off A.

Row 3: Join B. Same as row 2.

Row 4: Same as row 2.

Row 5: Join A. Same as row 2.

Row 6: same as row 1.

Row 7: same as row 2.

Row 8-52: Repeat rows 3-7 9 times. Fasten off.

Border:

With RS facing, join B with sc in first st.

Round 1: sc across.

Round 2: sc around the corners, the lace goes as follows: *ch 5, skip 3 st, sc, repeat from * across. Fasten off. Weave in ends.

Another old work, with just the picture. Anyhow, I wanted to share it, this was a cute gift to a friend of mine.

Striped blanket

This is an old, striped blanket of mine. I've made it in different colours, this one is coffee-beige-creamy, but there was a dark blue-sky blue-white one, and a purple-rose-light pink version as well. I did not write down the pattern but whenever I have some time, I'll recreate it. Until then, enjoy the pictures!
